West Coast Christmas Show

Last weekend I went to the West Coast Christmas Show at the Abbortsford Tradex Center. Since the holidays is just around the corner, I went to mainly to see if I can find some nice gifts or innovative products.
The entrance Christmas display by 99 Nursery was beautiful. It really puts you in the holiday mood. There were quite a few light displays everywhere, they were really enjoyable, especially the santa village train model display.
Of course as always, there were many food stalls that were giving out samples. I simply love them, because you can find out new product and you can try it before you buy.
After trying a bunch, I just had to get these Monkey Toast in the blueberry banana flavor. They were crunchy with a light fruit flavor. I think it would be perfect with spreadable or soft cheese.
There were lots of arts and craft booth as well, such as these hand made cupcake candles that just smell heavenly, along with this beautiful gingerbread display.
Aside from the craft stuff, there were also some jeweler selling unique one of a kind pieces.
There were also some stalls selling innovative products, such as the GripStick I mentioned from the last food show I attended. This time these Jimmy Hook caught my eyes. This small reuseable sticker hook can bare up to 5lb of weight, as long as the surface it's sticking too is poreless and smooth. I was impressed, so I immdiately bought a couple to try.
There were also quite a few shows going on at the same time talking about home decorating and cooking for the holidays. There were lots of helpful hints/tips given by the experts.
Right before we left, there was a huge section with decorated Christmas tree from various organizations. They were running a contest for the best deocrated trees. It was certainly a nice ending to this good shows. The Christmas show is tailored to people looking for catering or gifts, so if it's up your alley, you should definitely check it out next year.
